A new book! Nirmal Kishnani’s “Greening Asia”

Every month, a bookseller comes by with an array of new magazines and books on interior design, architecture and landscaping. Some of these are subscribed by us – Those we keep.

There are new ones too. For these, the bookseller will leave them with us for a few days so that we can scan through them before buying them.

This book is especially intriguing. I read his article in FuturArc on the puzzling contradiction of Asia’s green buildings that are not sustainable at all. A classic example in Asia is the fully air-conditioned glass exterior buildings that are certified ‘green’. I think I will like this book.

I’m still reading Duane Elgin’s “Voluntary Simplicity”, among other things.
